Waiting for the Sibyl, a piece for nine performers, takes place as a series of six short scenes. The work incorporates elements characteristic of Kentridge – projection, live performance, recorded music, dance/movement and shadows projected by the performers onto a hand-painted backdrop – to tell the story of the Cumaean Sibyl.
The Moment Has Gone is a 22-minute film with Kyle Shepherd on piano and an all-male South African choir. It incorporates City Deep, the latest film in Kentridge’s Soho Eckstein series, and footage of him creating the work.
