Estrella Morente & Rafael Riqueni

Estrella Morente presents a show entitled Estrella y Rafael, alongside one of the world’s finest guitarists, Rafael Riqueni. Together, they explore different flamenco styles, paying homage to the great masters of flamenco with unbridled passion and affection, with Pastora Pavón’s unforgettable, incomparable singing “La Niña de los Peines” and Niño Ricardo’s grandiose, eternal playing taking center stage. And so, almost without intending it, they turn this show into a remembrance, a tribute, an evocation and a recognition of all the children flamenco has given us, like Dolores Jiménez Alcántara “La Niña de la Puebla” and José Tejada Martín, known as Niño de Marchena, among other great names of the 20s, 30s and 40s of the 20th century.

This show is based on the mutual admiration and complicity that have always existed between Morente and Riqueni.
