Biography
David Manion was born in Oxfordshire, England.
Became head of lighting at the New Theatre Oxford in 1999 before moving to Glyndebourne Opera House in 2003.
As associate lighting designer David have worked on many shows for Glyndebourne, most notably: Turn of the Screw (Tenerife Opera house); Falstaff (GOT); La Cenerentola (GFO/GOT); Turn of the Screw (GOT); Die Entfuhrung (GOT); Saul (GOT); Saul (Adelaide Festival); Turn of the screw (Dallas Opera); Hamlet (GOT); Il barbiere di Siviglia (GOT); Hamlet (Adelaide Festival); Billy Budd (San Francisco Opera); Saul (Houston Grand Opera)
