By bringing together artists specialising in musical, opera and operetta, as well as dancers and actors, the Châtelet is a melting pot for musical theatre. In this art house cabaret, reminiscent of Le Petit Conservatoire de la chanson and The Judy Garland Show, the mistress of ceremonies, Jasmine Roy, adopts an eclectic approach! Anything is possible: an opera singer can sing Nina Hagen, rock singers can try their hand at operetta, and a Monteverdi duet can be performed like a Broadway musical.
